David Mcfadyen is arguably one of Australia's best armourers.
Having recently returned from London where for the last three years he has worked in the forge at Leon Paul and offering equipment repair at British Fencing Competitions. We are very glad to have him back in Brisbane.

David has seen and can repair any problems you can throw at him from intermittent body wires to full rewires and mask re rivets.
He is also a coach and can help you with getting your point on target!

There is an armoury workshop at the club and some things can be fixed on the spot, for more complex issues David will take it away and return it to the next club session after it is fixed.

David also stocks some equipment for purchase and will be running sessions on how to repair and manage your own equipment for QFA which club fencers are able to attend.

Equipment Hire
The club does not hire out equipment, however we provide a range of uniforms and weapons available for use during any session so that fencers can participate fully until they start to collect their own equipment.
We also want encourage our members to compete in state level comps as soon as they feel ready from Novice through to Open Championships If you do not have equipment the club can loan equipment for you to play on the day.
